ISIS Claims Responsibility For Kabul Homicide Wedding Party Attack That Kills 63 And Leaves 200 Wounded; “We Need A Judgment At Raqqa”
Numerous media outlets are reporting that an ISIS affiliate in Afghanistan has claimed responsibility for a homicide wedding party bombing in Kabul Saturday night, that killed 63 and wounded another 200 people — including women and children. Although the Taliban have denied any connection to, and have condemned the bombing — Afghan President Ashraf Ghani said “the Taliban cannot absolve themselves of blame, for they provide [a] platform for terrorists.”
I refer you to my article on this/my blog, “We Need A Judgment At Raqqa,” which I wrote in 2015 It is ‘easy’ to kill a person; but, it is hard to kill an idea/philosophy. In the article, I argued that the world needed a modern day — Judgment At Nuremberg. That, we need to put militant Islam on trial — as we did the Nazi philosophy at the end of WWII. We need to put ISIS leader Al-Baghdadi and his key lieutenants on trial for crimes against humanity; and their odious philosophy that feeds them. Unless and until we do, there will be other ‘bin Laden’s,’ and other Baghdadi’s, as the philosophy continues to survive, and at times thrive.  RCP, fortunascorner.com
