North Korea Finally Addresses Kim Jong-un Disappearance With Bizarre TIME TRAVEL Statement

David Maxwell Comment:  “Quite a title.  A little bit of a leap of logic.

But this is the key point and a change in the regime narrative.  The regime is taking a risk.  To reduce the “deification” of the leaders risks undermining the legitimacy of the regime.  It is going to be difficult to recraft the narrative and for people to grasp and accept the myths they have learned for the past 70 years are no long valid.  But the realization by the regime that information proliferation from the outside is significant.  It must be seeing the effects of outside information (and the truth) and they must have come to the conclusion that because of this information the people are questioning the narratives of the past 70 years. Again, and I hate to beat the dead horse, this is why we a comprehensive, sophisticated, ROK/US alliance information and influence activities campaign.  We can make a difference and influence the Korean people living in the north.”

Excerpts:
This is a powerful statement that shows that the state is looking to distance itself from myths about their leaders.

“Absolute loyalty would spring up when (they) are mesmerised by the leader humanly and comradely,” Kim added.

In the Sino-North Korean border region whispers about the supreme leader’s health continue, even after the government attempted to put hearsay to rest by organising a last-minute public appearance for Kim-Jong.

The country was left unconvinced of the dictator’s recent attendance to open a fertiliser factory in-front of the national media, as it was claimed that the plant unfinished and inoperable.

There were some who even believed that the Kim photographed at the event, was a body double.

An official newspaper of North Korea has confirmed that regime leaders can not magically bend time and space, as previously claimed during the reign of Kim Jong-un and former leader Kim Jong-il. This is a powerful statement that shows that the state is looking to distance itself from myths about their leaders.

Rodong Sinmun newspaper rejected the notion that the Kim family are masters of “chukjibeop”, which in their culture is a way of folding spaces and travelling in time.

The method of Chukjibeop has long been indoctrinated into North Korean society, to encourage worship of its leaders.

However, the media outlet has now revealed: “In realistic terms, a person cannot suddenly disappear and reappear by folding space.”

An official of the South Korean unification ministry said on Thursday: “It appears to stress patriotism and love for the people rather than mystification of the leaders.”

Last year the secretive dictator failed to reach an agreement in a second summer with President Trump and is now said to be encouraged to reveal his “human” side.

Kim has previously said he is now focusing on sharing a more truthful “appearance’ with his nation.

He told state media: “Mystifying a leader’s revolutionary activity and appearance would result in covering the truth.

Another rumour that has begun to circulate is that the leader has an issue with his legs.

“People are speculating that Kim Jong Un can’t walk properly right now because he might have gotten leg surgery due to his weight,” the source said.

“Other rumours say that he rode around in a car during the opening ceremony because he couldn’t walk properly, while some say that he was exercising to lose weight but strained himself and had to take a long break to rest.

“There are all sorts of rumours,” he added.

However, the authorities are yet to mention or address the speculation surrounding Kim’s health.

A source revealed to Daily NK: “The general approach seems to be to ignore [the rumours], but they do keep threatening severe penalties for anyone who makes [international] phone calls in the Sino-North Korean border,” he explained.

“Recently, there was someone who was caught making a [international] call in the mountains,” the source said, adding, “His entire family is completely terrified that the man will be made an example of.”

The particular man in question was a cash broker who was captured after signal detection team discovered him making the call and arrested him.

“Usually people will quickly get rid of the phone battery and swallow the SIM card to escape punishment, but the man didn’t have the time to do that. The arresting officials didn’t accept a bribe, either,” the source said.

There are also those who believe that the claims about Kim’s ill-health have been created by defectors of the secretive state.

A North Hamgyong Province-based source told Daily NK: “ After Kim Jong Un resurfaced, people started saying that the defectors in South Korea were the ones that first started to spread rumours of his death,”
